ABOUT US

The Mental Health Network is a collective body of representatives of mental health resources and student groups on campus. Our network members include, Speakeasy, Sexual Assault Support Centre, UBC Wellness Centre, Kaleidoscope, Mental Health Awareness Club and many more groups on campus. The Network works to facilitate cross-collaboration and promotion of Network Member initiatives. We also work to create open discussion on campus with regard to student mental health and spread awareness of the resources available.

Our workshops offer groups an open environment to discuss topics surrounding mental health, learn about mental health and wellness resources that UBC offers, and participate in self-care exercises. We will cater the workshop to the needs of your group - both content-wise and time-wise. Depending how much time you have, the workshop can be made to take anywhere between 1 and 2 hours. Each participant will walk away with enhanced knowledge of mental health on campus, as well as a resource sheet that outlines the various support systems available to students on campus.
